Influenza in Middle School

There has been a confirmed case of Influenza in middle school. Symptoms include the abrupt onset of fever, headache, body aches and cough. If a diagnosis is confirmed within the first 48 hours of symptoms, an antiviral medication can be prescribed to shorten the duration of this virus. Continue to encourage good handwashing, covering coughs and plenty of rest to promote good health.
