This voicemail is available 24 hours a day. Utilizing this will ensure information is received by teachers in a timely manner.

Any child who has a fever above 100 degrees is to remain home for 24 hours of normal temperature (without Tylenol or Ibuprofen) before returning to school. Students with the following symptoms are excluded from school:

• Temperature of 100.4 or above
• Severe colds, coughing, sneezing
• Upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea
• Sudden appearance of rash, uncomfortable skin conditions
• Suspicion of contagious disease
• Red or discharging eyes

AFTER TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

• Stay home for 5 days after the onset of symptoms.  If you have no symptoms, stay home for 5 days after the positive test.  Day 0 is considered the first day of symptoms or the day of the positive test if asymptomatic.

• Return to activities on day 6, as long as symptoms have resolved or improved substantially and there is no fever for 24 hours without medication.  

• Wear a mask through day 10.

AFTER EXPOSURE TO A POSITIVE CASE OF COVID-19

• There is no need to quarantine as long as there are no symptoms.

• If symptoms develop, stay home and it is recommended that you test for COVID.
