I received a Bachelor Degree in Science from Emporia State University.
Education Philosophy
It is my desire to teach in a Catholic school to help aid in the formation of students spiritually and academically. I want to inspire young children to live life through Christ by setting a positive example and educating them about our Heavenly Father. I want to model our faith by creating a classroom community where students feel welcome, safe, can embrace their religion, and witness Christ.
Why I love teaching in a Catholic School
I love teaching in a Catholic school because it provides students with an environment that enables them to live life through Christ and become disciples of Jesus. It is the foundation for students to mature into Christ-like people and embrace their God given talents. Students grow academically and in faith by teacher instruction, interaction with others, and scriptures. Catholic education fosters a classroom community where everyone feels welcome and builds self confidence in students. It provides students the opportunity to witness Christ through word and action.
Outside interests and passions
I love spending time with my husband and our 4 children. We enjoy taking our boat out at the lake, riding 4-wheelers, and being outside together having fun in any way! My other passion outside of teaching is coaching youth volleyball.
