Education Philosophy

I believe students learn best by doing and being active participants in their learning. It is important that they know how to study, take notes, memorize, and express themselves effectively. Students should be encouraged to explore and research information and interests outside of the classroom too.    I love teaching in a Catholic school.  

Why I love teaching in a Catholic School

We are a close, faith-filled community, much like family. I get to grow in my faith while helping my students grow in their faith, as well as academics.    

Outside interests and passions

I love to travel and explore new places with my family. I also love nature and hiking. I enjoy going to concerts, plays, and movies. I also love just spending time with my family, friends, and two dogs.
