Ms. Lily Mies

Miss Lily Mies is so excited to be joining the St. Joseph community, she will be teaching 5th grade. Miss Mies received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in Secondary Education. Miss Mies might look familiar, last spring she was a student teacher in our middle school. She is looking forward to getting to know her students. Miss Mies believes that having Christ at the center of education makes for a more well-rounded education as well as a more loving and supportive environment for learning. While not at school, Miss Mies loves to spend time with her family, her friends, and enjoys reading a good book. She is also an avid Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan.
